What is Website Localization?

Website localization is a fancy way of referring to the process of adapting a particular website to a local language to serve the demographic people of a particular country or place better.

Top 5 Translation Services for Website Localization (Part 1)

Hi Guys,

This article is the first in a series of articles about Website Localization. This is an important yet ignored topic which most website admins don’t learn about.

What is Website Localization?

Website localization is a fancy way of referring to the process of adapting a particular website to a local language to serve the demographic people of a particular country or place better.

I explained Website Localization in a lot more detail in an article of its own. Read more about Website Localization.

What are Translation Services?

The term translate originates from the Latin word ‘translat‘ which means to be carried across. It refers to the process of carrying across the meaning of literature over the language barrier.

Why use Translation Services and not a free service like Google Translate?

A literal translation is insufficient in successfully carrying over the meaning and significance of the content of a website, not only the translations can be erroneous, but jokes or idioms are language-specific puns that lose their meaning in a translation.

The cultural meaning and context of the text are important for the foreign audience as a misinterpreted joke can send a wrong message to the people about our whole culture.

For example, a long time ago (maybe 1960s), Pepsi’s slogan “Come alive with the Pepsi Generation” was translated to Chinese and meant “Pepsi brings your ancestors back from the grave”. From a translation viewpoint, it’s not exactly wrong, but from a general point of view, it sounds insensitive and rude if not scammy.

Automatically translated web pages may provide the user with the basic factual information they were trying to find, but a localized website will leave a long-lasting impact and will serve the purpose of attracting more users better.

Majority of TechGlobule readers are from the United States, and second most number of readers come from India, who have English as their second or third language. If you are reading the site and feel the need that this site needs to be localized in your language. Feel free, to comment below.

Some more practical uses of translation services are that they make sure to convert the numbers too, that is numbering, currency, date formats, and other cultural or geographical appropriations.

How to convert PDF to Docs | PDF Converter Ultimate

Hi Guys,

Happy 2018 Guys, what are your new year resolutions this year, type them down in the comments. Mine is to spend less time typing pdf file contents to docs. Hence, here we are testing and talking about this app “PDF Converter Ultimate” by Cometdocs.com.

What is PDF Converting?

What is PDF?

Most of you might already know this, but for the rest, PDF is a file format used to store documents such that they can be viewed the same way that the printed documents will look. PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is used to digitize and store documents more efficiently which also makes it easier to share and maintain.

Read more at sodapdf.com/compress-pdf/

Why do we need a PDF Converter?

As we know, a PDF is a read-only format and cannot be edited. So, in the old days whenever someone needed to edit even a single word in a PDF file, they had to type the whole document and make the edit and then save it as a PDF again.

PDF Converter Ultimate recognizes the content written in a PDF file through OCR and converts it to any other desired format such as MS Word, and any other file format as needed, where the user can make whatever changes required.

What is OCR?

OCR stands for Optical Character Reading. This is the technique used by converters to scan the textual content from any pdf and then save them in another file format. But sometimes, there are graphics ( images, tables, logos ) etc. in a pdf file, which may sometimes make the conversion a bit janky. Because of this OCRs can never be true 100% accurate.

You can see the conversions below and decide for yourself though.

Awesome Features of PDF Converter Ultimate

Multi-Platform Availability

This app is available not only for Android and iOS but also as a Web-based App. So I won’t need to find any alternatives to PDF Converter Ultimate while using any device.

Converts to any file type

It gives options to convert a PDF File to the following formats –

  • Text (Notepad, WordPad)
  • Word (MS Word, Google Docs)
  • Excel (MS Excel, Google Sheets)
  • PowerPoint (MS Powerpoint, Google Slides)
  • Image
  • AutoCAD
  • and even more.

Support for all Online Storage Systems

One of the best and most distinguishing features of this app is that it supports converting files directly from an online storage space. And it supports almost all the popular Online Storages like –

Fast and Accurate

It’s relatively faster and delivers more accuracy than any of the other converters I have ever used. I am not that accurate of a judge, but I would say it converts with about 95% accuracy. There are sample conversions provided below.

Many people believe that converters should convert the whole file 100% accurately and make it editable, but sometimes graphics like tables or images etc. don’t convert very well, and the formatting of the text is lost as well, but that’s not the fault of the converter, it’s how the converters work. I have explained the working above in “What is OCR?

Where can I get PDF Converter Ultimate?

PDF Converter Ultimate is available to download for –

and Android (Google Play Store) and web-app (Cometdocs.com) as well.

The App is available for Free but the conversions can be bought as a one-time in-app purchase. One can either choose to buy single file format conversion packs for cheaper individual packs. E.g. PDF to Word or PDF to Excel etc. or one can buy the All Conversions Pack to unlock all conversions.

Note that it’s just a one-time payment for a lifetime worth of conversions with no limits on file size, so the prices are quite cheap for such a good service like this.

How to use it?

  • Get the App

Download the app from the above link. Links for the latest version for all platforms are listed above.

  • Get Conversion Pack

Open and buy the Conversion Pack best suited to your needs. I personally use the All Conversions Pack.

  • Select PDF File

Depending on where your PDF file is, you can either open the PDF Converter Ultimate app and connect it to iCloud, or Google Drive or any other online storage you like to use.
OR you can open your pdf file from any app and then use Share > Copy to PDF Converter to open it in the app.

  • Select Conversion Format

Once the pdf file is opened in the PDF Converter Ultimate, you can tap the upper left button of Convert > File Format. Choose the file format you want to convert your pdf to, if unsure, choose Word.

  • Enjoy

Now, the pdf file will automatically be uploaded to the CometDocs’ server, where it will be converted, and the converted file will be downloaded back on the device. This is done to provide the highest conversion speeds even on low-end devices. So the actual time depends on how fast your internet connection is.

It might take time if you upload a 100-page pdf, but a couple of pages of pdf are converted almost instantaneously.

Suggestions for the App Developers

I would like to suggest a few simple and optimal changes which I feel will be beneficial for the app and the users as well.

As much as I appreciate the minimalism, the name is too Generic, a google search never leads to this particular app unless I search CometDocs. So add another word to the App Title, “Cometdocs PDF Converter Ultimate” or “CometDocs PDF Ultima” if you prefer shorter names, even “Comet PDF Converter” is a good and more memorable & searchable one.

A general user or office worker (without technological background) when using this app, (s)he might expect the app to deliver 100% accurate conversions, even a single mistake can result in low stars and bad reviews on the app store. To avoid this, the app can follow one of the 2 strategies.

  1. Describe or Advertise/Market the app as 80% accurate, this may sound like a bad idea, but when the user uses the app, expecting a lower quality and if the quality of conversion delivered is even better than the expectations, the App is definitely gonna get more and better reviews than right now.
Even if the quality is really 80% accurate, even then the user won’t leave a bad review, everyone approves and appreciates honesty.
  2. Provide free trial conversions in all formats for the user to get an idea of how the app is gonna be before buying it.
I know that the service can be used for free on the site, But a lot of users are not gonna search for that. If they downloaded an app, they need a trial there as well.

These are just the ideas I thought might help the app. I am no expert, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

Final Verdict

I have just talked about the technical and practical features of this app yet. But I truly adored the minimalistic approach and UI. Any app with a simple and clutter-less UI is great because then I can also teach older people like my dad to use it.

Overall, I liked the app a lot, and it can enjoy better ratings on the App Store, in future.

What do you think, guys, how’s the app, if it’s good, go rate it well in the App Store, if it’s not that good, explain why in the comments below and suggest what shall be changed or improved in the app according to you.

That’s all folks.

Google Penalties: Types and Tips on How to Recover from Them?

Hi Guys,

Today, we will throw some light on Google Penalties, which all webmasters have encountered at least once. Hint: One can avoid getting those penalties.

Google Penalties

Google has not been playing games lately (no pun intended) and has become very strict with the quality they add to their search engines. I think we should embrace this and try to comply with the rules that have been set for us to follow. Many webmasters are worried that their sites will be penalized and believe there is no way out. But, you should not let this demotivate you at all while running a successful website.

Traffic is important to any online business and that is why webmaster protect these numbers. You would be surprised how many website owners do not even realize that their websites have been penalized. If you are serious about your website traffic and for some reason are penalized, you can recover from it.

Reasons why your website might be penalized

Broken links

As a webmaster, you need to check that everything on your website is working correctly. Google does not like when readers click on a link that is not working. If your website has these types of links, Google will find you and penalize that site. If someone clicks on a link for programming homework, they should surely find a programming homework service website after clicking on a link that states that. Run tests and regularly check these links to avoid this type of penalty.

Duplicated Content

This is a big one for the search engines, because we are trying to constantly add new information. By repeating the same information over and over again, one can understand why this might be a problem for an already congested search engine. We are evolving as a people and therefore content writers need to come up with new and fresh work.

Slow Speed

It might not seem like a problem to you as the webmaster, but slow website speed is so frustrating for the visitor. Google wants every user to have a good experience when he/she is directed to a website. There are tests that can be done to check the speed of your website. You should do this on a regular basis, or simply go online and use your website, just as a visitor would.

Try this tool, made by Google itself, to check your site for speed and other features, TestMySite.ThinkWithGoogle.com.

How to fix it?

These are just a few reasons which are mentioned above, but there are a lot more for which you could be penalized. It is important to familiarize yourself with the rules in order for you to avoid breaking them.

Precaution is better than a cure.”

Prevention is obviously better than trying to fix a problem later, but let’s say that your website has been penalized. There are steps you can take to have the penalty reconsidered by Google.

You are going to have to do an audit on your entire website. This may seem like a major task, but your website is going nowhere with that penalty attached to it. You need to fix the problem and you can only do that if you know what the problem is. If you have content on your website that are generic and thin, you need to decide if you are going to get rid of it or simply do an edit of the work that is already there. Once you find the problem, you fix it and then you ask Google to do another test on your website and reconsider their decision. It’s that simple.

Conclusion

Do not let Google penalties take over your thinking process when you are writing content. Yes, you need to be aware of the penalties and avoid it at all costs, but if you are doing everything right, there is no reason to panic. Continue to run your online business or blog and put your heart and soul into it. You can make a success of this and should not let something like this distract you from your goals.

Do You Really Need Terms and Conditions on Your Website?

Hi Guys,

Let’s talk about those perky terms and conditions of websites, you often surf on the web.

If you are in the process of building a new website you might be taking a peep at other websites (like TechGlobule.com) to get a feel for what you want. You may seem that many websites have a terms and conditions page and wonder if your website needs one too. Technically you don’t, but I do suggest that you get one. Even if you are not selling anything on your website, there are still rules you would like your viewers to respect. If you do not have any set rules, they can basically do as they please and you would have no say in them not doing so.

A terms and conditions page can protect you from a law suit if ever a viewer wants to sue you. Things may not get that far for the average webmaster, but it is still good to protect yourself from such events. You are also able to clearly state the rules of viewing your website and what your audience can do and cannot do. If you are stuck at this page and do not know where to start, find a website terms and conditions generator. An online terms and conditions generator will help you get started, but you still need to read through it and tweak it to suit your needs.

Here is what you should include in your terms and conditions

Copyright

There are some content stealers out there and you have to be super careful. They will simply copy your work and paste it on another website. You work hard to produce this content and no one has the right to just take it. Even though the copyright section will not stop some of these thieves, it might scare away others. If you later have a case against someone stealing your work, you can at least say that you have a Copyright section on your website. Having no copyright on your website still does not make it right for someone to just steal your content, but having it is beneficial in many ways.

Privacy

I am very weary of giving my credit card details to anyone that does not have a privacy policy of their website. A privacy policy promises to protect any personal information of your clients and readers. I know my email address won’t be shared as well as any other contact information I enter. I do not enjoy receiving marketing information from companies that should not have my contact information. This is why I only enter it on websites with a privacy policy in place.  As stated before, this is just a promise and I have come to know some websites who ignore their own terms and conditions. It’s still a good thing to set your customers minds at ease and acting on it.

Governing Law

Your terms and conditions page needs to mention where your website is hosted from and under which law it is governed. This is important because each area has its own set of laws and it’s worth mentioning under which governing law the website operates. Individuals from your area may know the laws of the state or jurisdiction, but the internet opens up your website to the world. It is also just policy and best practice to enter this information in your terms and conditions.

How do I create a terms and conditions page?

Online Generator

You do not have to copy another website’s terms and conditions page with all the online help available. A website terms of use generator will be able to help you create a good terms of conditions page. You might need to adjust some of the laws if it does not work for you but you can usually request a custom one. This is of great help for many webmasters as it is so important to get all the facts right.

Legal Assistance

Sometimes you have to call in the professionals to help with certain aspects of your business and it is the same for a website. For many, a website is essentially their business and when it comes to something legal, you might want to get advice from the experts.  Find a good e-commerce attorney to help you with all your legal issues. This will always come in handy further down the lane.

Conclusion

Even if it is not enforced by the law to have a terms and conditions page on your website, it is better to rather be safe than sorry. In the event of something happening, you want to be sure that you have some form of protection. The online world is not always as rosy as you might think, but there are ways to make sure that you and your website are not involved in anything legal.

Have a link to your terms and conditions page on every webpage to make sure that it is visible to every viewer. Your viewers will probably never read this page and that is perfectly normal, but the importance factor is that you know it is there. It is not your responsibility to make them click on that link, but you should make it visible in case someone wants to know. Many website also has an acceptance policy where the viewers have to accept the terms and conditions before using certain functions. Use on these methods to start creating your terms and conditions page today. You will not regret it.

Truth behind "Why Snapchat CEO is not wrong?"

Hi Guys,

Today we will shed some light on the quick-tempered and illogical actions of media and Indian teens, yes I am definitely going to talk about this, without hesitation, because I know if you are a familiar reader, you know we don’t mislead people, and if you are a new guy, I have all the required logic to win you over.

Note

I’m approaching to teens mostly on this particular topic, because I noticed their rage against this, this might or might not be applicable to other sections of society. But if you think SnapChat CEO is wrong, and shall be punished, then you should definitely, go ahead and read this whole article.

What’s the Incident as Indian people know?

According to what a normal, average, informed, social media using teen of India, one day he or she suddenly came to know that the SnapChat CEO called India “poor“.

The after effect

All Indians started boycotting the SnapChat App, raging against the CEO, abusing the CEO, basically if he was within their reach, they might have physically harassed him. The SnapChat app has a 1 star rating on Apple App Store as of right now.

Approaching the situation

Now let’s see what’s really going on here, one step at a time.

What is SnapChat?

SnapChat is a fun messaging app. You can capture a photo or brief video with it, then add a caption or doodle or filter/lens over the top, and send the snap to a friend or set it as your SnapChat story, a 24-hour collection of all your snaps that is broadcasted to the world or just your followers.

But these are merely part of the many features within SnapChat. Yes, at its core, SnapChat is used to send photos and videos to friends. Your friends can view snaps for up to 10 seconds, and then the snaps disappear. While that’s all fine and dandy, many people are still left stumped by SnapChat.

Apart from this unique to its platform media sharing, you can just use it for regular chat purposes as well.

So basically, IT IS A FREE CAMERA APP WITH MESSAGING.

Where to get it?

It is available for Android and iPhones as well. I’m not going off topic, I just want you guys to test it, if you feel anything at all even remotely related to money. It is a bloody CAMERA.

But the news claimed that CEO said that India  “Poor” -_-

Yeah, coming to the main topic,  according to the article on Variety (US Edition) which starts like

“SnapChat CEO Said ‘This App Is Only for Rich People,’ Ex-Employee Alleges”

Now let me present you a number of logical arguments with ample amount of proof,

  1. Ex-Employee Alleges
    • According to Variety.com, Anthony Pompliano, is already been fired from SnapChat over a 3 week tenure, and has been involved in a lawsuit in L.A. Superior Court with SnapChat.
    • As per the news articles, Pompliano claims that CEO gave this statement in a presentation meeting which went wrong back in 2015, mind that he waited 2 years before revealing that.
    • I wonder what are the odds Pompliano is just making this up to turn the lawsuit in his favour.
  2. The SnapChat CEO Evan Spiegel
    • According to BusinessInsider.com and Forbes, Evan Spiegel with an estimated net worth of $2 billion, 26-year-old Spiegel is the youngest billionaire in the world.
    • So mind that, he is one of the youngest and smartest brains in the technology industry from whose company, even Facebook itself regularly borrow/copy its features.Take that Facebook. **Shots fired**
    • The app would not have been launched in Indian market if it wouldn’t have been meant for Indians to use, moreover it’s a free app and a bloody camera, which has nothing to do with the economic status on countries for God sake, use your mind.
  3. The Great Indian Media Circus
    • I have read about tens of different news articles on this topic, and guess what I found, only the Indian media stated that “SnapChat CEO said …” whereas all the foreign media where everything took place stated that “SnapChat CEO said … as alleged by ex-employee…”.
    • Take a look at the news cutouts in the section below.
    • The Indian media carefully obstructed the part which would make the news something which will enrage every Indian who reads it. As one may say, “The BREAKING NEWS phenomena” of Indian media.
    • But I wonder, if one is blindly accepting anything shown on news channels as true, then it’s his her own fault for being trolled by news channels. The news channels are just a group of people and they too have to sell news in order to earn their paychecks, every once in a while they will exaggerate some news, make some fake accusations, or do something likewise, it shall be the duty of an educated member of society to act with precautions instead of being irrational and using head-on hate speech on  anyone either outside or inside the country.
  4. Misfired Hate Sentiments
    • SnapDeal a totally different company, an Indian company, was victim to hate speech, because a few people couldn’t differentiate between SnapChat and SnapDeal.
    • Just take a look in the pictures below.
    • I’m not saying that people are morons, a few of them are maybe, but not all. What I am trying to say is that people with clouded judgement and irrational emotions can be extremely harmful to everyone.
What did SnapDeal did to you, come on, man, be reasonable?

Conclusion : A Letter to Indian people

Dear Indians,

Have you ever wondered why no one calls America “poor”, not because everyone fears the America but it will be an extremely stupid and impulsive act to call them poor. They won’t even blink an eye upon you and you will regret your actions shamefully.

On the contrary, In India, we make people like that celebrities, the so-called “Breaking News” of the moment. We actively make them feel as if they in fact have rub salt in our wounds. We are not poor. Not at all. But I’m sad to acknowledge that many of us are sort of stupid on our part, our actions do not match the level of education we receive, because it has nothing to do with education, it is more related to what we think about others and ourselves and our great nation.

I’m not saying anything against India, mind that. But the people who curse Evan Spiegel and feel patriotic about it, disgust me. I love my nation, for me it is the best, but that should not cloud my judgement or my actions.

No court has confirmed those allegations made by Pompliano yet, so stop harassing SnapChat.

Prove me wrong, If you can, with evidence or at least logic.

Written by a proud Indian who is sad because of irrational acts of his fellow society members.

A few pictures you should take a look at

By the way, people who are gonna comment that Facebook and Twitter is never wrong, let me remind you that Facebook and Twitter is used by people just like and me, they are humans and they can be mistaken too. So don’t, I repeat don’t trust anyone blindly, human error is present everywhere and cannot be eradicated no matter what.

If you guys don’t like this post, just explain me why, I might be wrong in thinking that Pompliano is at fault, but at least I can explain how I came to such a view-point. Those blaming Evan have no view-point are following the media like sheep follows a dog.

I do apologize for my rough language, it might have hurt someone.

Thanks for reading, let me know your views upon this in the comments.

That’s all folks.

5 Reasons Why Java is Must-Learn Programming Language!!

Hi Guys,

First of all, how are you guys doing? It’s been quite a while, I wonder what new things you all learned in 2017?
In case, some of you were busy because of exams and other things, just like us, it is never too late to start learning with TechGlobule, Gateway to (Learning) Technology.

So, let’s learn a few things about our good old Java.

What is programming/coding?

In case, you are completely a newbie to all of this programming stuff. You should read a little about Coding, Programming, Programming Languages and Compilers in our previous article of IDEOne.

What is Java?

Java is a general-purpose programming language that is based on the idea of “Write once, Run anywhere” (WORA), which means that a single Java code can sun on all supported platforms without further editing.

As of 2016, Java is one of the most popular languages in use. It was originally developed by James Gosling and released in 1995 as a core component of Sun Microsystems’ Java platform. The language derives much of its syntax from C and C++, but it has fewer low-level facilities than either of them.

Why do we need Java? Where is it used?

There are lots of applications and websites that will not work unless you have Java installed, and more are created every day. Java is fast, secure, and reliable. From laptops to data centers, game consoles to scientific super computers, cell phones to the Internet, Java is everywhere!

Is it free to download?

Yes, Java is free to download. The latest version can be easily downloaded from Java.com.

Hello World Program

Syntax of the first or easiest Java program is provided below –

class HelloWorldApp
{
  public static void main(String[] args)
  {
System.out.println("Hello World!"); // Prints the string to the console.
  }
}

Why Java is Must-Learn Programming Language?

There are many programming languages out there that are very complicated to master. However, Java has always been very popular amongst newbies because of how easy it is to learn this programming language. Of course, as with anything new, you will have to dedicate some time and effort to learn Java but you will be surprised at how quickly you can master it. Many of you might wonder why Java specifically and I am here to tell you exactly why.

5 Reasons to learn Java –

■ Easy to use

As mentioned in the introduction, Java is one of the least complicated programming languages and every beginner can become an expert. After you research the basics, you can look for Java programming assignments for beginners and start practicing your skills. A programming assignment can be seen as a test or exam, just until you are able to take on real projects.

■ It’s fast

Dynamically typed languages are generally slow to use, but because Java is a statistically typed language it is much faster. You don’t have to constantly check your coding to eliminate any mistakes as Java does it for you automatically. There is no time wasted on redoing your work. If you need help with programming assignment, there is a whole community that uses this tool, so all you have to do is ask.

■ Meet-up community

Learning from others has always been a great way to improve your skills. Many developers started where you are with little knowledge about coding. The Java Meetup Community is the 4th largest in the programming world and this is once again proof of its popularity. Many of these meets offer mentor-ship to beginners so there is no reason not to become a professional developer with ease. With more than 580,000 users out there, it is quickly recognized as an essential programming language.

■ Job opportunities

With most of the world struggling to make the economy stable again, doing something to help you bring in an income is vital. There are huge job opportunities for anyone who knows Java. Many jobs are created daily in the tech industry for developers who have managed to master this programming language. You can give yourself a huge advantage by going this route. With the many Android apps out there, it becomes impossible to not bring more opportunities to write native apps.

■ Universal

Around the world, Java is known as a great and efficient programming language. It is clear that this is becoming a universal language and there are no boundaries in securing jobs. Java is recognized on desktops, mobile phones as well and many electronic devices. There truly is no limit on what you can create because of its versatility.

Conclusion

You can align yourself with one of the most powerful industries and become a well-known developer. For some reason, we have it in our heads that any programming language is difficult to learn, but Java will prove many wrong. It might seem challenging in the beginning, but once you get the hang of things you will be on your way to developing great programs.

Being able to write code is such an important part of our ever evolving world. We are moving more and more towards a digital environment and everyone should make it their responsibility to try to learn a programming language. Even kids can start mastering codes from as soon as they can read and write. There are so many cool apps that teach you the basics and can be a great base for any beginner. Do not think that it is beyond you to master Java because many have done it and so can you!

Top Programming Languages to Learn in 2017

Hi Guys,

Today, we will take a look on some new and trending programming languages to learn in 2017.

Top Programming Languages to learn

JavaScript

Introduction – JavaScript is a high-level, dynamic, untyped, and interpreted programming language. Alongside HTML and CSS, it is one of the three core technologies of World Wide Web content production; most websites employ it and it is supported by all modern Web browsers without plug-ins.
Yes, JavaScript has been around for a while but it is still one of the most important languages to learn. JavaScript is the language of the web and seeing as the web is not going anywhere soon, neither will JavaScript. Programming experts knows that JavaScript has been at the top of the list on the TIOBE index for a few years.

TIOBE programming community index is a measure of popularity of programming languages. TIOBE stands for “The Importance Of Being Earnest” which is taken from the name of a comedy play written by Oscar Wilde at the end of the nineteenth century.

Ruby

Introduction – Ruby is a dynamic, reflective, object-oriented, general-purpose programming language. It was designed and developed in the mid-1990s by Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto in Japan.
Rudy has also been around for a while and seems to only rise in popularity. Many similar languages has been created but nothing if shifting the position Ruby holds. 2017 will not be any different so now is the time to start learning the language and not be left behind. Ruby is great for start-up and is often used by solo programmers for easy computer programming.

Rust

Introduction – Rust is a general-purpose, multi-paradigm, compiled programming language sponsored by Mozilla Research. It is designed to be a “safe, concurrent, and practical language”, supporting functional and imperative-procedural paradigms.

Mozilla launched this programming language in 2014 and the number of users has increased significantly in 2016. It is believed that it will do just as exponentially in 2017 as well. If you are planning to learn programming for the first time, this is definitely one of the languages to learn. Developed as an upgraded version of C and C++ with similar tasks as C. One of the great benefits of Rust is that it is almost impossible to make a mistake and run an error code. This gives great security to the every programmer.

Go (GoLang)

Introduction – Go is a free and open source programming language created by Google in 2007. It is a compiled, statically typed language based on Algol and C, with garbage collection, limited structural typing, memory safety features and other added features added.

Go is a Google owned programming language and it has been skyrocketing since 2016. We know most things created by Google are going to be around for a while and Go is no different. We predict that everyone will be making more use of Go in 2017 so do not get left behind. Many start-ups have made it their language of choice.

Perl

Introduction – Perl is a family of high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming languages.

Perl is used to write most kinds of programs and runs very fast. One can find some android sample programs and better them with Perl. It can even be described as fun. Who does not like to combine work and fun? Even though Python is a strong rival to Perl, we believe Perl is a stronger competitor. It really depends who you talk to, some in the Python corner and others on Perl’s side. No matter what, this language is not going anywhere in 2017.

Hack

Introduction – Hack is a programming language for the HipHop Virtual Machine (HHVM), created by Facebook as a dialect of PHP. The language implementation is open-source.
So you do not know about Hack. This programming language is brought by Facebook. How can you not know about it as a future programmer? Basically, it is holding up a feature on one of the most popular and successful websites. See why you need to learn this language? Just like Google, Facebook is not going anywhere. If you want to be part of the programming future, learn this language.

Swift

Since, we have already talked about coding languages from some major IT companies like Google, Facebook, and Mozilla, Swift Programming Language from Apple also deserves a mention.
Swift is a new programming language for iOS, MacOS, WatchOS, and tvOS apps that builds on the best of C and Objective C, without the constraints of C compatibility. Swift adopts safe programming patterns and adds modern features to make programming easier, flexible, and fun.
In short, every apple device works with Swift language backed apps. If you wanna be an Apple developer, be sure to learn this one.

So now you have a better understanding of the languages of the future. Equip yourself with the knowledge of these to set you apart from the rest. If you are serious about making your career as a programmer, you have to keep up with the trends. These languages will allow you to be a better programmer. Some courses include these languages in the material but if yours didn’t, do some research and train yourself.

Tell us, which coding language is your favorite in the comments below.
